This course explains how to apply the Standard to HVAC systems. It lists the exceptions and describes the compliance paths.At the completion of this course, you will be able to: Assemble the documentation to prove compliance with the Standard; List the types of trade-offs allowed when using the energy cost budget (ECB) method; List the minimal functionality of computer programs used to calculate values for the ECB method; Describe how the ECB method is used when improving an existing building; Describe how the ECB method is used when a building contains unfinished tenant spaces; Describe a standard HVAC system; Determine which utility rate to use.
