This course provides an overview of relevant mechanical systems, including HVAC, service hot water, and power. It is designed specifically for architects, who need enough information on these systems to understand the Standard. At the completion of this course, you will be able to: List the Standard requirements for HVAC, power, and service hot water systems for new buildings, additions to existing buildings and alterations to existing buildings; List the compliance path for HVAC systems that meet the Standard; Describe the building types and HVAC systems that may use the simplified approach option to comply with the Standard; List to completion requirements for HVAC, power, and service hot water systems.
