This course explains the concept of all-air systems with a focus on distribution and delivery components. All-air systems provide sensible and latent cooling capacity solely through cold supply air delivered to the conditioned space. Heating is also accomplished by the same supply airstream. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: Describe the functioning of all-air HVAC systems; List the advantages and disadvantages of all-air HVAC systems; State five commonly used versions of the fan laws and describe their applications; Interpret the effects of heating and cooling loads using a psychrometric chart, as well as the equations for sensible, latent, and total heat capacity or load; State the design considerations for pressure and air temperature-volume. (I-P), 0.5 PDHs. It can be subscribed to independently or as a part of the Air Systems Course Package.
