Details
This course deals with heat transfer equipment, which functions as a source component and helps to provide a primary heating or cooling effect for a system. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: List the: Types of shell-and-tube condensers; Limits on cooling coils performance; Different applications of heat exchangers; Design and equipment considerations for cooling tower installations. State the: Important system design considerations of shell-and-tube condensers; Design values and space requirements for cooling tower installations; Design considerations for cooling tower installations. Describe the functioning of a double-bundle condenser; Plate heat exchangers and state how they function; Evaporative condensers; Explain the importance of coil face velocity as a design consideration and the uses of evaporative condensers. (I-P), 1.0 PDH. This course is approved by AIA. It can be subscribed to independently or as a part of Components and Equipment Course Package.
