This course explains Direct Digital Controls (DDC) components, their inputs and outputs, and the programming of DDC routines. After completing this course, you will be able to: Recognize the functions of the input and output points; Determine the accuracy of conversion when converting from analog signal to digital signal; Determine the compatibility of a transmitter to the analog signal device; Recognize the effect of converting a signal from analog to digital on process software; Identify the importance of a point naming convention. (I-P), 4.5 PDHs. It can be subscribed to independently, as a part of the DDC Controls Course Package (I-P), or Control Systems eLibrary.
